Any way to disable chat tabs?

They take up a lot of space.

Wait until VoA and you have 50 hotbars to squeeze into a single screen.

go to options, untick use chat tabs .. close window.

The new tabs take up space and tells me what I've labeled my windows. Is there any way to disable this function?

Someone made an updated version for a custom UI but I can't find the link. I know it was posted to eqinterface though.

It shouldn't require a 3rd party UI to disable.

Probably not but adjusting the UI with custom pieces has been a thing since the new UI was released.

Perhaps a method to disable this in a particular chat window? Takes up too much space; I don't need to see what I've labeled my chat window. Just really really annoying.

Yeah, this broke my UI and it just clutters the screen. need an option to get rid of it

Installed both, go to load UI skin, load the downloads, does nothing - no option to turn off tabs

EDIT - First link is a dud, second works great!

Just curious - did you try and load it with both files in the custom folder at once? That might have caused it to break.
