There's always plain old "EM-per".

This is how I've been pronouncing it.

People obviously have no idea how to pronounce the word "pyre". Listen how to pronounce it here and add the Em to it.

And while we're at it, the word Demesne is french and sounds like Da Main or Da Mean

You might have a point, but there is no e at the end of Empyr.

So I actually looked it up, didn't realize that was a French word..

I'm saying, Empire. Pronouncing the Pyre as in Pyro as suggested by another above. Anything works.

Why? they never weighed in on Luck-lin/loose-lin (Luck-lin ftw btw.)

I know I've been saying wrong for like 15 years ? I always said it loos-lin.. oh well

They have a bunch of times, its always been luck-lin

I've come to the belief that some zones just don't need to be pronounced. Qeynos, Txevu, Yxtta, Vxed, Qinimi (lots of GoD zones), Lxanvom, probably a couple more that I missed.

But, I did actually look up the pronunciation of Empyr and all of the ways listed in this thread are correct depending on the location.
