That is the most entitled, selfish thing I have ever heard. We know EQ has some things that are dated, and having to camp a mob for days is one of them. Game problem, systemic problem, not a player one. But yes, if someone is there before you, and have been up for 24 hours trying to get it, you think they should just step aside because you just got on and want the mob to?

Do you go to events where people are camping out for tickets for 3 days and harass people to let you in or grief them any way you can because technically there's no law preventing you from doing it. It's still pretty . But hey, why should they get the tickets because they were there first, you just got off work and want the same opportunity as the guy who adjusted his schedule to sit there for 3 days.

Do people realize when they come to argue on the forums, they are arguing with the same people that they are complaining about? The krono farmer, the 6 boxer, the guy that dispelled your mob, the guy wanting to justify a DPS race for everything, the dude that moved into your camp, the folks that trained you out of efreeti, and all other types of selfish garbage troll around here to justify their actions or lobby for their interests. Needless to say, you won't find empathy here. Just move on and let it go, hang out with people that you enjoy and find something fun to do with them. At the end of the day, you will be happier and the garbage will still be garbage.
    Risiko and Krezzy like this.

I know this is an old part of this post, but I wonder...if you charm a mob, walk it over to another player and gate, is that training? If it is, then dispelling a charmed pet is not altogether dissimilar of an action. It's not technically training obviously but it can cause exp loss, even if the intent was to KS.

If you can prove the intent was to train. More than likely it will take a GM watching the person doing it multiple times before they would do anything.

You should have read his whole post, he never even suggested someone who was there first should have to step aside. He was advocating for more instancing so both people can camp the item without competing with each other.
