Hi. I know this is a really noob question, but I was wondering if it is possible to get a bigger backpack ?
Totally, if you're returning with an older account and have loyalty points to spend then I'd recommend visiting the loyalty merchant in the Plane of Knowledge. This month she should be selling the Jack in the Box, but what she sells changes depending on the month. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=97150 If you don't have loyalty points then you can try the courier quest line. It's fairly easy but takes a few hours, yields a really good bag. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=100133 If you don't have loyalty points or patience but have plat., then another option is the bag of the tinkerer's sold in the gnome outpost in Sol A . (Don't think Ctrl F will work, might need to google a map). They cost ~5k plat. depending on your charisma, you'll also need good faction to buy from the vendor but grinding kobold's in Nagie's lair can help with that. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2366 Good luck!
Sorry, the easiest bigger back pack is probably the ore hauler's haversack. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=53422 I think I got it from a quest in the Hero's Journey quest line. Forgot about it since it's one of those quick/easy quests I quickly do with my new toons.
I just go to the gnome in pok and get the Deluxe Toolbox. 1 pp and change, holds 10 items. And you might check your /claim and see if you get one of those sacks. 16 slots. One per character. DreamWeave Satchel
Aren't dreamweaver satchels for free under /claim if you bought any expansions to date? or was that only for HOT purchases? Still I have it on my mage and noticed it. Those wouldn't be a horrible start for the OP.
Alas no, you only get the expansions when you buy the latest. All the goodies that came with each expansion are only available when you buy that expansion direct - when it first comes out.
Which is why one of my accounts doesn't have mounts in the /claim. I had to go all access and use up most of the accumulated platinum coin bag to buy one.
Bigger than what? The initial backpack (8-slot) that comes when you start your character? Yes, you can use deluxe toolboxes, which are 10-slot each. Depending on the server, you can get bigger either tradeskilling or on the DBG store.
