What I dont understand why we have to buy a krono for this. Surely, it should be any active account, even those that pay a month+ in advance?
because DB wants not only to sell krono's but Mainly to Consume them. which from a marketing standpoint is (i have to say) an excellent idea.. and to top it off they give you 30% off Krono for 5, 10 or 25 purchase.. if you want the Illusion it will cost a min of 17.99 .. or buy a bundle and get them for as little as 12.00 ea(rounded up) and bam you get an Illusion with it as long as you consume the krono
Seems pretty ironic to have 300+ days on my accounts but not be loyal until I click one of those shiny krono from selling a chase rare or farming a TLP. Edit: looks like they changed the wording to now be “Krono special?” Heh
So do you actually have to buy a krono or will using one that you have already obtained or obtaining one from another player count?
Correct you do not have to buy one if you already have in your inventory. If not you can buy one in game with PP. No need to spend real life money unless you really want to.
I have a couple saved up so no need to spend more money than I have to for a novelty item. Unless they come out with some new amazing LON type items my days of spending ridiculous amounts of money on pixilated items are over with exception to subs and expansions. My luck with the crates is worse than my luck at the casino which is beyond horrible so I wont be dumping money into those unless there is some game changing item that I absolutely have to have.
