Launcher won't patch/closes after a few seconds

Yes. Same result.

Ok so you are creating a new directory when you use the installer and not overwriting a current installation?

Yes, I make sure everything is completely gone before starting a new install

I just tried on two different computers in my house other than my own. Same for both of them, launcher will not patch

Are you running any form of firewall or a router with a firewall? If so, check logs of the firewall and make sure it's not blocking traffic.

Nope everything is fine. Even tried turning my firewall off, but it didn't help. I was able to play just fine a couple months ago, so I don't know what could have changed between now and then

When you played on Agnarr a few months ago, did you try patching on the day it launched? If not, that's probably what has changed.

I didn't play on launch day, I think it was about a week after launch. I then stopped until sometime around November and picked the game back up, so I assume it patched when I started playing again.

Not a permanent fix, but it works.
