a banished efreeti http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=17130 has anyone killed this guy in Western Wastes? he may need to be put into game if not there. his heart is used for an alternate access quest into Solusek Ro's Tower
It should be though. It's likely flagged as DoN and then you can just zone in at level 57+ anyways, so it's worthless.
Well either did any of the alternate access quests if I remember correctly.. So pointless to have some but not others...
Many of the alternate access quests existed, such as the alternate access quests to: - Plane of Tactics - Halls of Honor - Crypt of Decay - Plane of Torment They were put in to allow players to quest their way into these zones if they were unable to raid the required events. Solro was locked behind the flagging requirements though. The alternative access Solro quest wasn't put in until 2004, shortly after the release of Omens of War I believe. The Solro alt access quest is literally killing 1 npc and handing the item to an npc by the pofire zone-in, in tranquility (who is not currently in game either - as it should be). It would be obnoxious to allow that quest to be in the game on Phinny as it would negate a TON of flagging requirements to get access to that zone. The other alternate access quests are somewhat tedious and only allow you to skip one "access flag", while this one is a joke simply put in the game because very few people did PoP backflagging by the time Omens was around.
