This might get moved to a different forum, but I figured I'd ask the Vets first. Launchpad won't load at all, I double-click the icon, it stats loading and just poofs. I backed up all my important files, re-installed and it still happens. Any ideas?
you can google --->> everquest bypass and the eqresource link is a good one to be able to bypass the Launchpad . http://articles.eqresource.com/bypasslaunchpad.php mine look like : in eq folder--->> \everquest\eqgame.exe"patchme/login:kookoo then I just need to enter my station username and station password
That would probably work if I hadn't deleted everything but my ini files. So I actually need to run the patcher to get all of those files back. I've just never had my PC act like this before, going to try again soon
The only way I can get EQ to load is by right-clicking Launchpad.exe and selecting "Troubleshoot Compatability" which switches setting to run as Win XP Service Pack 2, even though I'm running Win 7 Pro. I have to do this every time I want to start the game for each account that I use.
