When will we see Anniversary Schedule for 2017?

Just wondering when we might see the schedule for Anniversary Events for 2017.

Exact details and official announcement still not known.

I will be updating http://everquest.fanra.info/wiki/Anniversary when more is known. At the moment, my hosting service is undergoing some changes and I'm not updating the wiki for a few days because of this. Once the hosting changes are done, I will update the Fanra's Anniversary page by adding the 2017 Anniversary Schedule.

18th anniversary generic quests are same time as 14-16th


There is a group mission, it seems like it will be at a different time like PoWar mission was broken out from the 16th? anniversary or whenever it was introduced


Also 150% exp bonus from March 16-31

I'm going to guess you know this from Test Server.

150% bonus xp? Are you sure you don't mean 50%? Because assuming normal experience is 1.0, 150% bonus would make the xp 2.5. Meaning 50% more than Double xp. I don't think we have ever had that much xp bonus.

Alert strings group them that way, I'm not sure what it was, last year it said 170% for 17 days, this year it is 150% for 15 days, I don't remember if last years was 70% or 170% though, but it is likely the same as how last years was though

Ok, then it is 50% bonus XP during those times. Or 150% normal xp.

Couldn't the 150 for 15 days be the default that was overwritten last year manually?

Too much to ask for the new stuff to be added on the actual EQ anniversary. But I hope they leave the 18th Anniversary stuff up longer than 6 weeks.

I just wish they would release/re-release it all on 16th March and leave it up longer! March - July sounds good. Lol

just curious when 15th anniv war games will start .. have not heard a word from the dev's , however on EQ resource shows it starts today ? can anyone confirm pls

I am hoping we get 80% exp bonus for 18 days (similar to last years 70% for 17 days) not 50% for 15 days.. .cause.... well.. more is better

I agree more is better ..
aye Prathun does say anniv dates could change , but one would think that we could/should of heard something within the last few days/week regarding any updates about the anniv events especially if they decided to tweek the dates a bit..
Ive got a few alts I need to lvl up before or soon after the events start..

If I were to guess all the server stability issues have got them behind on things. Would be nice to see what goes on behind the scenes.though. They seem to have made a lot of changes to various systems and are having a lot of problems with those changes.

so 15th anniversary event was supposed to start on Feb. 22nd? .. its the 23 and i have not seen anything pop up or an announcement here about it yet. Is it active?

Also what is the source of the 15 days of 150% exp? i see no mention of it in the links other then a 3rd party calendar.

well it is actually the 18th anniv this year .. but other than that I would also like to know if anyone has heard anything on when they might start this year..

It wasn't "supposed" to start on the 22nd the initial date they gave which they said was open to change was the 22nd. None of the dates they gave out in the summer for anniversary events were firm dates and were open to change.

Prathun posted that calendar list a year ago so I imagine they didn't know if they had time to make 18th anniversary stuff + Hardcore Heritage Sebilis, maybe.

It just likely got shuffled around (hopefully to push 18th anniversary content on the actual anniversary time ), but with no updated dates

I'm going to try to word this nicely so no one gets upset but Holly is notoriously inconsistent with the frequency of the Producer's Letters and when she does post one it tends to be vague and uninformative.

I have no problem with her as a person but I think she is probably tasked with doing too much and there should be producers for each EQ game instead of 1 for both so they can be more informative and interact with us on a more consistent basis.

I'm sure it's mostly an upper management decision that is out of her hands but it doesn't make the situation any better.

I strongly feel like every EQ dev should actually play the game. Not just betas or in a controlled environment as a GM but as an actual regular player. They need devs to play in the top end, the mid tier and the low end/casual tier so that everyone has more of a voice and they have actual current game experience to base their decisions on.

I think that would make this game better both short term and in the long run but I'm sure with the ridiculous budget cuts and staff lay offs we'll never see anything like that again.

I still think the last 3 expansions should have been one single release but I guess that's just me wishing we had it good like the good old days in 2012 with ROF which was the last legitimate expansion in size,scope and content.

The last several have had their bright spots but all are too small and leaving 105 as the top level for the last 3 has come back to haunt the devs in certain ways like the current player power vs mob power and these recent nerfs that aren't very popular for the most part.

July 29th 2016 is not "a year ago" .. its less then 7 months ago. Still have not seen anyone link where the 15 days of 150% exp came from either.

DBSTR CHANGES it as higher last year and they lowered it back to the normal past Anniv values looks like.
