Hi all I played EQ from May of 1999 to the summer of 2004. I would be looking for a player progression server that has a good group of people who want to do all the older stuff from Classic, Kunark, Velious, Sol, PoP, and so on. What server does the best at offering this for a F2P player? I will more then likely be playing a Bard.
Trak server is touting several guilds with "progression" from classic. See the Guild Recruitment section for ideas. There are a large number of family guilds for more casual players of all levels on each of the live servers IE The Eternal Darkness (The Rathe), and Lions of the Heart etc. Most servers have at least some lower level community, though most are very top heavy and encourage people to migrate to the top quickly, as that is where most of the action takes place.
