Been playing EQ for a long time now but I have always stuck to either Rogue or Shaman. During the free period I took my 50 SK and did the free Heroic upgrade but just recently have gotten around to playing him. WOW. Talk about lost. The spells and aa's and discs are overwhelming at first. I deleveled to 84 and bounced back and forth between 84 and 85 several times before getting a grasp of the basics of the class. Just the basics mind you, I'm nowhere near competent yet although I have managed to claw my way to 86. And now I'm starting to have fun. My question is this; as a shaman or rogue I know what my role is in a grp or a raid. If you could make a list of say the top 5 things a good SK needs to do to be at least competent, what would they be? I can solo well enough to level albeit kinda slowly, but well enough to get it done. But I dread getting a grp killed on account of my ignorance of the class. Any suggestions?
