New server ideas

    At 18 toons per raid, is it possible to kill AoW, Tunare, Vulak, etc. in era?

    Without MOTM and Zergs it would bring strategy / challenging content back to the game. Currently on Yelinak all content is completed within 1 day of launch on all prior expansion. 5 + guilds already cleared time within 7 days one within 2 days. Without MOTM a lot of the content is easier and addition you can use different strategies other than tank and spank. Removing MOTM only works if you can cap raid size. If you can’t cap you have to have MOTM or you would have a vaniki clone which doesn’t work. Vaniki strategy was a failure cause it requires Zerging and casuals don’t have patience for that.

    18 man raid cap without MOTM is more of a modern game style play.

    I never liked socking for open world bosses so im all for smaller raid content, but wouldnt an 18 man cap just guarantee trolling for OW raid targets?

    How about a death matters server. Your character has 1 life. Exp is increased to a factor of 5. No level requirements on any gear. Spell resistance code similar to Viniki for resist checks except for charm/mez/stun/fear. Free Trade, double random loot. When your character is perished, all your tradeable gear and coin is parceled to your account. Reduced lockout timers. All zones are considered unlocked. Expansion unlocks occur one week after the last boss in an expansion is defeated.

    I would love to here your strat for Vishimtar in era with 18. And then just for fun, Time and Tides in VoA. These aren't even the most complicated out there. many raids are actually designed to require a large force, or fail outright.
