I've read the book and tried several variations. What is the recipe(s) for Acolyte's Focus of Selenelion? Book talks about 2xSquare & 1xPear Cut Topaz, etc. Those don't work as-is. Not finding out what to add with them to make the container.
2 square + 1 pear = Assault 2 trillion + 1 pear = Fortification 2 halfmoon + 1 pear = Stealth 1 oval + 1 pear + 1 round = Strategy Add the appropriate Grp or Raid Selenlion piece to make the combine
Seems like only 1 is worth using, at least for my class. After that the acolyte's focus of the selenelion is just going to rot or shout out to guild and hope someone can come for it.
wtb updated assaulting/casting augs. Maybe increase damage from tbl versions and keep same lore group
I only use evolving items other than the cloak because of the power of the effect-carrying Type 18/19's. In ToL I dropped down to hands/boots/ear, and I'll be dropping one of those now for the cloak. There are eight proc augs (4 casting/4 assaulting), which leaves room for one of these new augs at most if I opt not to use a Soothing aug. I'm happy we got an evolving item and some augs this year, but I wish they could rekindle the grandeur of the Type 18/19 system as it came out in TBL (though, not the RNG drop rates...). We got a number of small but unique new worn effects all at once, and the lore groups and slot constraints encouraged decision making. It was nice to get upgrades in ToV, but I'd really like to see additional new effects (with use of lore groups to keep overall power in check). I think they'd make good "throughout the year" bonus content/rewards for people with most things complete. There are a lot of SPAs that aren't utilized on items as is. Alternatively, if heroic stats were relevant for more classes, people might be a little bit more interested in stat augs...
Thanks. I was assuming we created a container first like all the others. Didn't want to gamble on experimenting with the Focus item without knowing the stats of the final - which I would use.
Is there somewhere the stats of these are displayed? I haven't found them anywhere yet, but obviously they're known.

Thanks. Here are the type 19 versions if anyone needs. I didn't realize the implication immediately. This means the wearer must have the jewelcraft skills to make this. All other items require a TS master to make a container, then the wearer gets a NO FAIL combine to create the item. Here, the wearer/looter-of-Selenelion piece, must do the JC. That's a potentially ton of failures on Topazes, and I am hoping the Selenelion can't be lost that way.
The ToV 18/19 augs also required the user to have the JC skill to make for themselves. You also had to progress the earring to a certain level before you could even attempt the combines, so that's one requirement that's not present in NoS.
If this was for the earring, I would understand. But for anyone with max TBL evolving or the NoS cloak, this wasn't required. Some guildies have many Type 18's/19's but 0 JC skill. Thanks for the info. Will work with them.
The only 18/19 augs that anyone has without any JC skill, are Burning Lands/GMM drops. Crafted ones always required you to make them yourself.
