April Fools Day- If you were a dev, what would you do?

I would make Kronos non tradeable. Announce in an emergency overnight patch, let it simmer for the weekend. Then revert back.

I liked the Stick Figures!

Make any spell cast have a very very low chance of being replaced by ANY random spell from the spell file.

I like the stick figures idea, but IF it could be coded, make it so that every time you zone, you have a different illusion appearance applied to you.

in your eqclient.ini file add this:

On your first login your screen is turned upside down.

At the character select screen, I would list every character as level 1 and naked...

Make an announcement that lag reduction is the #1 priority.

Force a loading splash screen on your first login for the day of the load screen for Eastern Kingdoms and say you're zoning into Elwynn Forest. WoW is an EQers worst nightmare

Remove the level-cap temporarily for the day. Don't give more hitpoints, power or anything, just let the level number go beyond 120 without changing any mechanics.

Without announcing anything of course... let people think it is a bug...

Im sure some people will fall for it and power-level like mad, hoping they have found an exploit they can abuse.

Damage spells heal other characters, heal spells damage NPCs.

guild lobby replaced with the plane of mischief zone file, to get to your guild hall you have to click into the pom throne room

also i'd rename the zone file so your map doesn't load

Since it's a 1 day event, set all of the 'tricks' to trigger something diff every hour (with a Bristlebane emote in city zones, PoK. Lobby, Bazaar, Sunrise, Halls, PoT. Current effect will happen to Players when they zone in to an applicable zone. The effect will go away when they leave an applicable zone.

-Change default NPC languages to their racial language or Thieves Cant / Dragon
-Grow everyone
-Gnome everyone
-Jester everyone
-Bunny everyone
-Puppet everyone
-Instant Drunk (will wear off)
-Turn everyone into a Deity Avatar
-Give everyone a silly Title (not suffix, title)
-Give everyone a fun or silly Nimbus effect
-Give / turn everyone's familiar into a joke spouting Jester
-Turn everyone's weapon into a Jester Puppet
-Make everyone's visible armor invisible, so everyone looks like they are in their underwear
-Activate original old-school EQ Graphics
-Turn everyone into Shadowmen
-And so on.

Make everyone a Bard for the day (hugs Ely)

Give everyone a Krono, when it is going to be used or traded have a message " April Fool! " and make it disappear!

I would fix all the bugs for April first then break it at midnight again.
