bummer so i gotta make a another hotkey ill pass was hoping for a option i could change to one key. Andarriel
At one point I was able to set things up so I can get any of the first ten targets on my Extended Target Window by hitting Ctrl and (whichever of F1 through F10)... but I don't currently see how to do that in the "Keys" tab of the Options window. For what it's worth, here's what's in my eqclient INI file under [KeyMaps]: KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_1_1=536870971 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_2_1=536870972 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_3_1=536870973 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_4_1=536870974 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_5_1=536870975 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_6_1=536870976 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_7_1=536870977 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_8_1=536870978 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_9_1=536870979 KEYMAPPING_TARGET_XTARGET_10_1=536870980
In the past those options would come and go. I thought Darkpaw had fixed it so they are always there, however.
I always set the 12th slot as Raid Assist’s Target 1 and in options have E set to extended target 12. Makes for a fast assist key without having to make another hotbutton.
options-->keys set dropdown to target. Target Extended Target 1..13 can set a key to whatever you want
I set mine to numlock under options. For some reason it doesn’t show up on all my chars all the time either. It works on all of them though.
What would be nice would be if you have a hotkey to cycle through extended targets, if you hit that when you don't have any extended target selected it would target the first extended target.
Well then set a key.... the option is there. As to only working when you don't have a target, well just don;t hit the key if you have a target. Pretty simple. Or you know set a key to xtar1 one, when its dead all targets move up a slot anyway. Keep hitting it until xtar is clear.
You could macro /xtar 1 /xtar 2 /xtar 3 That should target xtar 3 if there is one, else xtar 2, else xtar 1.
Pretty sure you have to have /xtar target #. /Xtar is the non-range target command. My mez hot keys are set up like this. /pause 5, /xtarget target 1 /cast 7 /cast 7 You could also keybind those. For charms I set my middle mouse button for breaks. /xtar set 5 target (That should be the command to set your current target to line 5, or you can right click the extended target window and select it) /pause 5, /xtar target 5 /pause 28, /cast 4 /pause 34, /cast 8 /cast 5 (Tash, Stun, Charm) Sometimes you have to have /pause 5,670 if you have a shaman you're waiting on malo for.
You SAY sorry, but you're not... On the flip side, I heal using F7 and hoping the tank is stood closest in my line of sight
options > keys > target > set 1 to key 'Target Extended Target 1' make social hotkey '/attack on' for raidtime or group stuff set first target to either raid assist or group assist and then can spam 1 for assisting np and thats all you will need to change etw1 to raid/group assist.
