Anyone have any advice on the best means of gaining this item? Over the past couple of months I had collected about 15 from random killing in Kael, but I have now failed the JC combine 4 times and completely out. I would much rather concentrate my efforts of gaining more in select locations of Kael if they seem to drop better, but so far it's just seemed completely random to me.
Failed mine twice I share your pain. The area where Vkjen Thunderslayer spawns, is a spot with aggressive corpses domesticated direwolves are there....thats where I went back to twice for mine.
Helped a Goldie the other day. We were in the arena and got him 24 in a few hours. I also have had ok luck clearing the Kael mission trash.
i'm sitting on 21 atm from CC and Rygor mines.. dunno why I keep looting them, I'm on earring #5 I think.
