Came back to game (left in RoS) and downloaded Brewall's maps in January for the new zones. Copied them to \maps\Brewall. However, they do not show. The old maps continue to work. Any thoughts?
well I allways create a new folder for the new maps. why two reasons. 1. I do add notes to the old maps and don not want to lose the notes. 2. to make sure what toon I am playing can see the new folder (if not then I did not place it in the correct spot. for that acct)
My Maps folder is under C:\Games\EverQuest\maps and has four subfolders. Brewall, Good's Maps, TBL Raids, and Collection Ground Spawns. Each has a different collection of maps. This allows me to make changes in any of those four subfolders and it doesn't allow the game to overwrite those changes. I like to add my own notes to things that I find important. It is easy to select these subfolders in-game in the map window.
