I find it strange, to put it mildly, that DB devs have designed a belt for casters ( Ingenious Conflagrant Belt ) that unless you are a gnome, can't be advanced to the next stage, which is the Phlogiston Ingenious Belt. The Flawless Diamonds ( 2 ) used in the making of the belt are No Trade, making it IMPOSSIBLE for anyone OTHER THAN A GNOME to use to make the belt....Am I seeing this wrong?
As Riou says, though said gnome would have to win and then effectively sell a Flawless Conflagrant Diamond, the Tuned Perpetual Mana Battery is tradeable.
Just have your gnome bud (or alt) get a raid/expedition invite to loot your diamond, then make the kit for you.
Are you saying guilds are not awarding two the two needed diamonds for the raid tradeskill armor? Giving 1 to the person who won the bid and the other to who ever is doing the tradeskill part?
Im sure anyone capable of getting a diamond is also on speaking terms with a tinkering gnome, who is willing to help out a fellow raider with a sub-combine. Its a bit cumbersome(mostly for the raidleader), but not a big issue, imo
I would guess guild leaders already have people lined up to make the tradeskill part of those items for people that win them on raids.
Yep! Having bidding-wars on 6 identical items, where some want doubles and are spamming 2 different prices for each one, can sometimes confuse the bid-handler though.
We have 3 guild TS people looting diamonds...one of which is a gnome. The guild members bid on 1 diamond, the guild TS peeps make the kits with the other looted diamonds...too risky letting anyone get 2 diamonds and fail the combines.
Yes. That's why you limit this item to one per event - simple. "on speaking terms" - you speak with your gnomes? We punt then, sacrifice them, step on them... but we also keep them fed (for our Ogres and raid leaders). They're more than happy to fulfill each and every of our wishes before we even knew we had them.
