The login servers are definitely jacked up right now...Been trying to login since 7:45AM CST this morning. I cannot login to the game itself (receiving the same error above on multiple accounts), and it took me damn near 25 attempts to login to this forums website just to reply to this post. Hell, I couldn't even create a new dummy account to try and reply... Acknowledge the issue and fix this!!!!!!!!
Same thing happening for me, can't log into game and could not log into forums for a while either to reply to this. I have been patient with a lot of the issues happening with this game lately, but my patience is starting to wear thin. Hire competent tech people to fix these issues now!
Same here, I've been trying to log in for the past hour and getting the same error message. The only time I have to play is on the weekends. Please get this fixed ASAP!
Confirming that this is *still* an issue. I've tried multiple times since my original post 21 minutes ago (latest attempt about 30 seconds ago), and I'm still unable to login. "There was an error completing your request. Please try again."
I'm able to ping the login server, and do a full tracert as well (see below)...so it's an issue on y'alls backend. Please acknowledge and resolve! The bad thing about this, is that they have been messed up and I couldn't log in to these boards to report them. Same log-in server!
Can I just ask how we are meant to easily notify EQ regarding issues like this? My experience was. Try my eq accouts, none of them worked. Try my eq2 accounts, none of them worked. Try logging into EQ forums to raise the issue, I'm told my account details are incorrect for all of my accounts. Try raising a support issue via a different link, also requires a login and again im told account details are incorrect. Obviously I now have access back but if this was down for a prolonged period how would we notify devs of a problem?
I experienced the same thing, RagePaw. They need to provide an alternate means of reporting issues like this when players cannot connect via *any* means to even report the problem.
