You’d think with so many comics having a real beginning during WWII and their support of the troops at the time, they’d have a bigger more acknowledged role on Veterans Day. Be a great way to show their appreciation and showcase all of their old foundational content from those days, and hero’s based off of Soldiers.

Interestingly enough, you could form a rather formidable team of superheroes and heroines from active duty and the veteran community if you combine DC and Marvel characters: Icon (DC) - Fought for the Union in the Civil War as well as WW1 and WW2. Rank unknown. Captain Nathaniel Adam, (Captain Atom) United States Air Force John Stewart, Green Lantern Corps (USMC) John's best friend and fellow Marine, Rex Mason - Metamorpho From Marvel's side: Captain Marvel, USAF: Sam Wilson, Falcon - USAF Steve Rogers, U.S. Army- Captain America Sgt Bucky Barnes, US Army Frank Castle, The Punisher - USMC James Rupert (Roddy) Rhodes, USAF - War Machine I'd recommend none other than AMANDA WALLER to lead such a team.
