I know we just had a few weeks ago the big discounts with power sets and respec tokens costing half their price, but when does that usually happen again? I can only think of black friday, but are there other possible dates?
Thanksgiving/Black Friday, CyberMonday in October, Summer around the start of July, Winter Holiday in middle/late November, Spring sale in May. At least four times a year, once each quarter (plus the add-on Monday to Black Friday). Dates move about a bit and the specifics of what's on sale vary according to DCUO whim/calculations. The general trend over the years has, sadly, been towards less and less generous sales, though. We used to also have regular sales of Marketplace cash and those are long a thing of the past.
