The composite material has a strange vinyl description that doesn't match the material when selecting a material. Also you can not cycle through materials. You must select the first material you scroll to, back out of the material selection window, and then scroll again. Rinse and repeat. This used to be streamlined while you were viewing the materials. One used to be able to scroll through the three selections and the 'none' selection. Now you have to go back and forth. This happens when you hit the select color option on any given piece of gear, the option above the color slots where you slot a material is bugged.
This has been reported in the official server aswell so thumbing it up. Haven't had it happening to me yet, personally.
This is happening when one is upgrading augments as well. When you add XP you need to scroll away from the window and come back in order to add more xp. It must be a scrolling issue just like the issue with scrolling the bank inventory.
To trigger this bug you have press the right d-pad when selecting the material on the gear slot. The first press goes as intended but after that, the material slot will freeze. Then you have to cancel pressing the circle button. If you press the left d-pad it won't freeze at all. And not only the vinyl but the amazonian warrior has its filename when selecting it on a specific piece of gear.
I've had the 'vinyl' prefix happen to a few materials, shaded comic for example. If you hit left on the d-pad there is no error caused that limits further selection, just the labelling thing if it's one of the materials that that happens to
