Ive never played a single episode at launch, for whatever reason. Whenever i take a break from the game and come back it's always mid ep and i stop playing before a new one comes out. But with tomorrows launch ill finally get to play one at launch and im really excited!

i have like 1k replay badges, is it worth it to reset raids and get extra drops/currency etc? ( I assume there's a new currency? )

I Have like 200 batman casino tokens, is there any point using them on gear upgades before tomorrow? or just save for cosmetic stuff like auras or w/e?

    Can't wait!

You typically want to save your replay badges for bonus currency weeks.

Unless you don't have all the style feats from the Flashpoint vendor already, save your Casino tokens for next year when they convert to Source Marks.

Take your time. No need to reset all the of raids over and over and over to get the gear. Do your daily/weekly lockouts, but enjoy the ride.

First, don't rush through. Try to balance staying active daily with taking it easy. After all, if you finish everything quickly then it might get boring. Do dailies and weeklies, do queues, do feats but try to balance it with continuing to work on stuff needed across the whole game as well. That's how I avoid getting tired of an update.
Be patient. It will be crazy busy and maybe a little flawed at the beginning. All the crowds and minor technical difficulties won't effect the fun though if you try your best to be patient.

Replay Badges, I would advise against using them right off. Wait until a bonus currency week. Save and keep collecting. When a triple currency week comes out, then use them. If it's a double currency week and you absolutely have to have a style or item that came out, then use them. Because I completely understand that even on double currency weeks there are some things that rock and I just need that item or style for an armory.
With normal episodes (I am under the impression this one is abnormal that's why I specify) I just settle with purple gear and work on buying the other stuff first with the new currency. Like the catalysts for OP items, plans, mods or other things needed for feats/advancement. Then I do armor...unless the new armor has a style piece I have to have. Then I break that rule to get the specific piece first, then go back to getting the other stuff until I feel like I'm falling behind and need to get the gear. I don't know how this one will work though so I am not sure if that will help.

The Wayne Token gear upgrades. If you need/want the style feats or vendor feats then go ahead and use them--but only on the things you need feats on or equipment/styles you'll use. Also, keep doing the weekly and if possible daily missions in Flashpoint Gotham as well as 31st Century. Personally I only do the in-world missions of past episodes and not the queues of past episodes, unless my league is working for a feat in a queue. Remember, each year there is the possibility of throwback weeks where new styles/items will come out with feats attached to them. So you want to think about continuing to do those missions so you have a head start on anything you might want for future content releases in those episodes.
Also with each new episode, a previous one will have its special currency changed to source marks. So continuing to earn the currency is good for that too. The possibility of either being able to buy something that might come out or just having that many more source marks in the future.

Sorry about the long answer and I hope the stuff makes sense. If the logic is flawed feel free to point it out (politely)

    SAVE YOUR REPLAY BADGES

Take your time to explore the new stuff
Check out the older content that has been scaled. It does not need resets any more.

Yes there is no need to rush and spend replays. Things you can do in the mean time to get ready is to get your exobytes ready. Remember that the origin augments will be getting raised so you having extra exobytes won’t hurt. If you are in a league you guys can go through the content that will be featured to refresh yourself on mechanics. The science spire, phantom zone, and fos2. When tomorrow comes you can also test out elite with your league and see how it feels. If y’all can’t do it, don’t get frustrated. Just do the regular to get the marks before reset. Then go ahead and try again Thursday.

Don’t forget the other features getting released tomorrow. Go do your ally quest as well as checking out the hall of legends for some styles feats.

This tip won’t really apply to the new DLC, but get your content feats done asap. The beginning of an episode is usually the easiest time to put together feat groups and knock those feats out since nobody has them.

In terms of replays. I personally don’t use them until bonus currency weeks.

There are no mods to worry about with this episode, same with Episode Augments (also no new Artifacts either). The Origin Augments will go up (but you don't have to worry about breakthroughs with those). There is Time Masters Gloves OP item. And there are two brand new gear styles, I believe the Purple Gear is based on Tempus Fuginaut and the Vendor Gold Gear is based on the Monitor. I think there will be plenty of parts in both styles you'll dig. ;) :D

Thank you for the info. I admit I was confused about this content coming out.
The pictures I’ve seen, I have an idea for the glove and back of fuginaut.
The monitor style, those legs might help with my Jeroen Thornedike style. It’s not exactly a tunic but I think I could pull it off well enough. That helmet? I absolutely am going to see how it looks with 4 specific materials attached to it.

I’m stoked that I get to start Thursday afternoon because my shift starts at 4:30am and have no car so when I get home at like 2 the PlayStation will spend the afternoon updating. Basically, I’m also stoked but for the wrong day. Lol
