LaunchPad Error

    I have this error that say's LaunchPad was unable to connect. Please check the network connection or try again later. If the problem persists, please visit https://help.daybreakgames.com for assistance. (4-503)

    I'm getting the same error.

    Forum homepage does make the following acknowledgement:

    Status: 1/2/2017 11:45 PST - We are currently investigating an issue with logging into the game.

    Edit - Tried clicking on Start Menu icon instead of desktop shortcut. Worked. Loaded. Logged in. Try it.

    (4-503). I noticed that the homepage no longer has the
    acknowledgement of the problem. Nothing on the Twitter feed either.
