Can't play the game.

Hello I recently installed DCUO through stream and when it was done I made an account and click "Play"
then it just sits there for a minute then closes.

if I try to reopen it there is a message saying "The game is already running" but it is not in task manager or anything.

PLEASE HELP!

if you get the game running error, restart your PC.

The starting issue seems like malware or security software interupting the start.

How do I fix it? I am on windows 10 I don't know if windows defender is doing anything but I am turning it off and restarting my computer to try it again.

Does your computer meet the required minimum specs to play dcuo?

Try reload the client.

I've had to do this for a couple of steam games.

How do I reload it? I already tried to re-install it

It looks incomplete, like a broken install or missing windows components.

Make sure you have:
NET Framework
C++ Runtime library
Driectx
Internet Explorer

Download the launchpad installer again and use the repair option. Then set the Launchpad to start with admin rights. After this and your security software is all set, do Vallidate Game Assets.

Hint: Do not share your login ID. It makes your account vulnaerable to account theft.

The Problem might be that U downloaded it from Stream and not from the Site.
