Firstly, I just like to say I am a long time lurker and first time poster. I am electricity healer, and I mainly play 2v2 with my buddy who is a Gadget troll. 1. Is the Elec Heal still viable for PvP? 2. Are Two handed and One handed weapons viable in PVP? 3. Does clipping still work? 4. WTF is weapon mastery??? Any further tips or changes would be much appreciated
How long have you been gone for? 1.) Electric healing is viable. 2.) Two handed isn't bad though it's in need of some buffing. One handed is a safer bet. 3.) Clipping does work but it has been over taken by weapon mastery. 4.) Weapon mastery was implemented many months ago. It is a new combat system wherein you briefly change to a different weapon for another attack for very high damage, and if you clip it at just the right time, your next power (depending on role) will either deal much more damage or cost less power.
I'm a returning player as well, trying to regain a grasp on things. So far, to my understanding, it seems that roles no longer gain class buffs against one another. i.e. healers don't beat tanks, tanks don't beat trollers, trollers don't beat healers. All of that has been removed.
