Lol. You are wasting your time anyway. May as well make a point (if ya have one). Otherwise, move along and go do something else.

    Just a suggestion ;)

The awesomeness of the idea has left some shattered from their perspectives preconceptions valued as short comings as well as valid points. On this I remain neutral.

On Interactive Emotes, I'm hip. If you not make the post and dip. Start a thread for each issue.

you have a friend want to high five you, and your like ah hell naw. Then leave them standing there like Hi Hater. So then there have to find a way to make it work even if your friend don't accept. Or you just just laughing like they really thought they would fall for that.

The fact that bugs exist in outdated content is the saddest part from my perspective. It leaves a horrible impression for newer players, and it makes the developers look bad considering the length of time many of those bugs have existed.

Not really, wasting my time would have been to write an essay of all the things wrong with this game to someone who already knows and I proved I had a point on more than 1 occasion you just refused to see it.

Why do you keep saying that?

I was actually asking a legitimate question. When I hear people say (in my own head while reading what they wrote) that there are all these "game breaking bugs", that are sooo important, I would like to know what they are.

You have yet to contribute to this post. You're just saying what others are saying w/o any thought of your own at this point.

Edit: BTW I gave you "my" list. Any comment on that?
  7. HazeTA New Player

Because not only did I prove it but you proved it aswel and really? From the guy who completely derailed the thread with a deliberately obtuse comment? you see this post right here...

... Should have ended anything further you had to say, yet here you are, still beating the horse that died on the first page smh.

Hahaha. I'm not sure if you are actually serious or just a kid. Either way, I'm done here. This is going nowhere.

    If you
Have two rejects, one to pull away the hand all "too slow" and another just to ignore/reject invite.

Serious or a kid? Was that an attempt at an insult? lol

Not unusual for for most of the things you have to say. It was going nowhere from the point you decided to chime in.

Oh come on fellers. Respect your fellow gamer and be less like a/an donkey/***. Coming into a thread and trying to prop your stuff on it makes it no more or less valid (it being OP or non-associated added commentary). It is not a valid way to dismiss OP and it does not meet our community standards for more than one good reason. Topic, set aside your topics in separate wonderful threads. Make our wants/needs more clearly organized for developers to implement what is most correct for the majority of the community. Thank you for your passion, imagine if your mojo was more positive how much more you could contribute.

Since SOE also made FreeRealms and the soon to be closed PlayStation Home Beta, what I would hope for is an integration of some of the ideals presented in that game. New celebratory emotes is great and all but what about interactive base items such as the pool table, darts, casino tables and perhaps even the bed? It could be a new way to build a supercharge.

Not to burst your bubble, but it's a lot harder than you may think. Both toons need to be in exactly the right position in three dimenstions. How do we move them? autopilot? Then both toons need to be perfectly facing each other. Then, there's the difference in heights to consider. Do they create a seperate animation for each height set so they line up correctly? There's hundreds of combinations. Then multiply that by the three 'couple' animations you propose. Then multiply that by all 4 movement modes. That's a lot of vector movement coding, animation work, and bug testing. That's literally months of work. Now consider if the system resources for these anims could be used better - like improving existing content.

Was exactly my point, all bar the full detail.
However OP would not listen and kept given irrelevant replies like "but what about skimming?"

I like the idea of all this, but because of this exact reason, Red Solaria posted, it is far too hard to get right.

    I like the OP's idea!
I'd also like to see an Air Guitar emote

As for wasting time on "fluff"...
Many of those who post this on any "quality of life" post - also known as "fluff"
are madly in favor of a certain app and info added to the new UI
maybe if the devs hadn't wasted who-knows-how-many hours working on showing SP and CR,
those bugs might have been fixed by now!!

In other words: Just because you don't want it doesn't make it a waste of time
because you might have things you want that others see as a waste of time

I agree with the second paragraph entirely.

As for the 1st, having an Air Guitar emote is vastly different to having interaction emotes between 2 players like hi-5's.
Although I would love them both, an Air Guitar, and "personal" emotes are an entire different request to make than "player character interaction" emotes.

You most likely won't see anything like this due to the fact that you'd have to lock your ally/opponent into an animation cycle that they didn't want to be in. Plus, it would struggle to work if there were more than 2 people in an area. Targeting and all that.

It's simply not worth the time and effort for something that'll add basically nothing at all to the experience.

New emotes, great. Complex systems which target and animate other players? No.

Well-stated. I think most people who post here don't appreciate the amount of work that goes into something that seems simple.

It's a wonderful idea, but not worth the time in my opinion. If you want to fist bump a friend, unequip your weapons and punch at each other at the same time.

.... It would have to auto drop movement, reposition toons, and adjust for each body type selection. Months of work.... For me or you. A couple of weeks to 1 month for someone with Sony resources. I think the need for more interactive emotes and base items is most certainly obvious.
