The New Costume Contest ...

Been toying with the idea to make Black Lantern for a while.

Thought I could go for a Captain America Black Lantern.... a Captain Marvel Black Lantrern.... or a Thor Black Lantern.

Made a Green Arrow one that I ended up calling the BlackBow Hunter.
I'm using Celestial as a power to fake being a Black Lantern.



Not sure if I will go with this one.

We shall see.

Any suggestions/ideas for a Black Lantern in DCUO???

Got lucky with a Red Plasmic. I don't know what it is, but to me it just works well for a more sinister look. And when he isn't using the Red Energy Hand Blaster style (can kind of hide in the aura)...

But for Halloween I went a little darker.



Helps to be a collection junkie, especially when a character's CR isn't high enough to enter certain areas. Just have to remember not to switch Armories because this look isn't saved and I'd have to reset it if I did. LOL

One thing about black lantern colors i can suggest is that the black has the Slightest hint of blue. Just a little bit. And with the white parts, you may wanna go a little gray/ silver ish to really accent the black. For the third color , use whatever you want, but i'd suggest using a dull version of that color, say red- i'd use a dull almost pink color, to really make it seem like the color has faded in that zombie esque way. For skin, i use the undead skin as it gives the rotting flesh look that's typical of black lanterns, and i make it either totally gray, or slightly skin colored. Have fun

The nightwing legs really opened up more possibilities and actually ended up improving my ninja lantern theme. Im glad i found a cool style that fits and isnt slimline so i dont have to wear the parallax belt anymore. I think once i get the blue lantern gloves, i will have my character complete

But yeah, I'm also waiting for the blue lantern Hand and chest piece to finish my style. It'll never truly be complete without the ring though!

For the Halloween event, I went with an undead/zombie look for PyroMonica.

I made a C Viper character some months back. It's a low level alt that I rarely use but I'll show you some pictures of various outfits. It is difficult to make because I can only use 3 colours and in some outfits I have to compromise.

Thank you so much for the ideas, your C Viper looks way better than mine. I'm gonna have to steal some of those. I just wish the goggle style eye glasses were transparent.
