Thank you for posting these, I was hoping WM was going to really make the combat system look cool, but this is about as awkward and butt fugly an implementation as I could imagine. I may be in the minority looking at it from a superficial or stylistically synchronous pov (in terms of some comicbook precedence) but it can't solely be about the mechanics can it. All in all I am tremendously disappointed.
LOL i thought they said one of the main goals was to make it look badass. Kip up to smoke bomb just made finishing volley non existent and shield to lifting strike.........
Some of the combos look plain out silly. For example, a big two handed sword into a bow, but where does the sword go? I could see someone saying that the weapons transform if they were HardLight or Rage with the light weapon styles.
