Are long combos useful? Do any of you put points into all/most of the combos on your weapon tree? I seems like the trend is to pick one fast combo and just use it to clip powers or to generate damage on cool downs and use the 4 innate giving moves with like one block breaker in low power situations. I would like to hear from those who actually spec out and use long combos (8 or 9 tap \ hold) or conversely why you don't use them. For instance I do know some that use rifle mortars, I'm guessing because it hits hard for a short animation but I'm just not sure. Discuss
In general, it takes too much time to get to the end of a 5+ tap combo for the return in dps to be worth it. The ideal DPS combos are 2 and 3 tap. Maybe 5 for Smoke Bomb? Mortar is good for spamming when the power runs out.
