I really hate those threads that stick out of the seems in your shirt sleeve. Bugs the heck out of me.

Serious I look at the title and how many replies it has. If a green name is involved I will usually check it out. Some posters that I recognize I will read because they usually have interesting threads.
One other reason is the number of threads posted. Sometimes it hits second or third page really fast, and then that is usually the end of it.
