Thank goodness for solo content

Why? Well one, I've laways liked it and still would like to see new Catwoman type missions added. Replayed it recently after a long time and it was just as much fun as I remember it.
The most important reason though is because we've reached a stage in this game once again where no one is running the Batcave missions or FOS missions as frequently as they used to, thus forcing us to find some other way of earning marks. This has been the case for me all week and if not for alerts and solos I find myself waiting close to an hour if at all to get into those missions.

I know just about everyone has advanced to Prime and beyond but it seems we need some new solo content or alerts, if those of us who don't have the CR for Prime are to grow without th help of the old and underpopulated raids. The majorty of players just don't seem to run them as often anymore. Of course I play at night, EST so that may have something to do with it, and If there is a time or day that the old raids are a buzz with people, I'd be glad to hear which days and when. If not it may be time to increase the rewards for Khandaq and Batcave, shut them down in favor of something new, or do a mass conversion to alerts for all of them.

You...LIKE the Catwoman missions?

I'm with you. I love the solo missions. As you level they add a LOT to the game. You interact with all the iconic figures that got you into the game in the first place, you get really involved in finding out how each story line progresses. I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what happens with the whole Trigon thing as we can GUARANTEE that Circe and Wonder Woman will have some major stakes in this too... As a guy who really enjoys the roleplay aspect of games, I'm a BIG fan of anything that adds to the story

I see people throwing flak all the time about solo content in an MMO, to which I partially agree. I mean, it is a multiplayer game by design, however there's so much more freedom I feel from doing solo content. I have a 9 month old who makes doing 8-man content pretty difficult unless it's timed around his nap time, which is impossible lol. Now Duos, I love. And the tiny Alerts like League of Assassins and Oan Sciencells, those I can easily find time to do. If it wasn't for Home Turf dailies and the super quick Wayward Souls, I wouldn't even have any T4 pieces. I seriously hope T5 marks won't be earned strictly from Raids.

1. I like solo content. I would like to see more released.

Catwoman mission wasn't hard, just long and the cub feat is buggy. The one I hated was Penguin. That thing was NOT t1 when it came out. LOL

Nope. I have the Mayan set done. Been done with that set shortly after it came out. Or you making a joke on how often the back piece drops from the bosses?

There's solo content, multiplayer content and then there's open world content where maybe you can do it solo and maybe you can't and if some hero passes by and notices your health bar is looking low decides to get your back. That's my favorite content.

Solo content helps me gear for Multi content and I enjoy both but I really just wish there was an obscene amount more of open world content.

Yep xD had an all backpiece run once... Helps with salvaging though I guess.

I don't think you'll be seeing very much outside of raids that reward Tier 5 marks for at least 6 or so months after the release of the gear. Eventually they'll release other ways, but a new tier always starts with raids for a long period, thats just how they limit progression (or make more money with replays - though it was designed like this prior to replays too).

I actually thought of an interesting idea for solo challenges that would be cool to do. Since someone mentioned Catwoman, I'll use her as an example. Remember how you meet her during the Inner Raid? She mentioned she showed up for 'quality time' and found Brother Eye making Omacs. How did she actually get there? You escorted her! The challenge would be you and her getting to the point that you first see her in the Raid.

This could work with a lot of the material we already have.

+ What was Bane doing before you met up with him in Gotham Sewers?
+ Were you helping Booster Gold before he was mind controlled by Queen Bee?
+ Where you the villain who helped Riddle get from one part of Gotham to another after Deathstroke was stopped?

lol I get the chest and back only. I never see anything else except the epic drop at the end and thats far and few between.

personly ive finished all my solo feats, but when you cant get a group it dose get boring. ive taken to farming ace everyday and selling the kick me signs i get. i find it fun to challenge myself and try to complete the higher tier alerts solo.

Actually you can blow through this mission in about 10mins, i did it every day for about 2mo trying to complete the set way back when with T2 gear. The trick is to just run past everything and get to the bosses.

I only like the starlabs T3 solo mission. Others are not fun for me especially catwoman so annoying. People still frequently do all Fos and t2 raids on our side so not sure whatchutalkingbout.

Still longer than the other challenges of the same level.

I wish we could have teleporters to walk-in to all the duos so we could solo them at our pleasure. The three in South Gotham with walk-ins are basically the same instance; would like more variety!
