Dear Devs: Will The New DC Reboot ('Rebirth') Affect DCUO?

    I know that the New 52 Reboot five years ago didn't touch DCUO, but it seems that the higher-ups at Warner Brothers are pushing a more cohesive IP this time (making the books look more like movies/TV). And since Daybreak is working even more closely with DC Comics these days, I could see them wanting to put a bit of pressure on you.

    Talk me in off the edge? DCUO seems to be the only place left (other than reprints of old stories) where I can go to visit the Classic DCU I love. I'd hate for it to become all dark and grim and BvS-ified.

    its already confirmed that some future episodes will be based on the Legends of Tomorrow TV show.

    I highly doubt they would reskin all the iconics just for another new 52 reboot. I mean think of the work it would take.

    Our world stands on its own. As we have in the past, we can draw on any of the comics for inspiration, but you're not going to wake up to a vastly different, rebooted DCUO.
