can you raise the escro cap?

I am against any kind of money cap in any mmo f2p or not it is a ridiculous thing in place and this game takes it to a whole different level of greed. Premium players are capped at $2,000 and f2p players are capped at $1,800? You cannot do anything with this amount of money and it forces people to either keep pouring money to the escro things in marketplace or go legendary. Since I don't believe you devs are going to remove escro anytime soon how about raising the cap? I would raise the premium cap to $12,000 (since they had a legendary membership in the past) and the f2p cap to at least 10k . Truth be told I want the cap to be removed its not really good to likit limit your players this much

Disclaimer, I have a legendary membership on one psn and a premium and f2p psn account so I compare and contrast what I can and cannot buy

1800? When did they raise rthe F2P cap? It used to be 1500, when I was F2P...

Yes everything would be handed to you for free, except the legends characters which are ten dollars a piece, and the daily vault, and the free keys you get for your lock boxes, or the 150 replays you get each month, and the discount you get on market place items, and the fact the economy is out of whack so it would still be difficult to get into the broker unless you are already a frequent user of it, and the access to the other games under day break if you play on pc, and the test sever, and that you get dlc's early, and the fact you don't have to pay for dlc's if you don't want to.

Go Legendary.

It costs money to make this game, and you are lucky they even allow players to play that aren't subscribed.

The way the DCUO crew has decide to monetize the game is extremely fair. Perhaps in the future this model will change, but it will be to increase player retention and maintain profitability.

If a player plans on playing premium and wants to reach end-game content, they should expect to have to buy Escrow tokens along the way.

We do offer escrow withdrawals and the 7 day unlimited escrow unlock for Premium players who wish to take full advantage of the in-game economy. Unlimited cash is a feature of the Legendary Membership.

You need to try a unique argument that works for the Devs....not Premium vs Legendary. These threads should help you understand the history. I would encourage you to try the search feature on the website, in the future. Searching before creating a thread can save manynew posters endless hours on the cash-cap hamster wheel or similarly over discussed topics.

Carry the three, subtract the nein, multiply by ten.... If the FTP cap is now 1800 shouldn't us premiums be due for a cash cap increase too? After all we are actually paying customers.(I think an increased cap of 2300 sounds fair to me if the FTP crowd now has a cap of 1800...)

F2P is 1500, not 1800. Escrow doesn't have a cap, because it's all the money that you have in excess of the cash cap. The cap is fine as is, because gear will never go over 2K. The Devs have also said no numerous times, seeing that there are various Escrow Token and Subscription options available. R&D was a free GU, not a DLC, so that is not a valid argument either. Seriously, if you want more cash then either keep buying Escrow Tokens or Subscribe.

The cap is not the problem - it is the price of some things: The cost of some R&D items to make consumables and more importantly repair costs should be lowered.

Repair costs have been the same for the 3+ years that I've been playing. R&D was a free GU designed to get more people to either subscribe or buy Escrow Tokens. The gear that comes in the DLCs will always be 2K or less.
