Simultaneously: "Name Does Not Exist" "Name Taken"

Nah, I checked with the name I want for EU PC and EU PS and it doesn't exist on either according to wavedox.

well that's not fair. they are different servers...

I checked the two names, that I was trying out:
For both names it is the case, that they still exist on EUPS, while they should be freed up for EUPC.
That doesn't proof that threory, but might be a hint.

incorrect. I have two characters with the same name on both platforms.

As always we did it as a league...Had a list of toon names we all wanted and systematically took them while we were all on PS chat.
A couple of names eluded us, but overall it was pretty successful.

If thats the case they fked up their databases. Gratulations.

Since they don't even said smth after nearly an hour its also not good.

Getting it in USPS too it's actually super frustrating.

I posted that PC/PS name issue as well. Since the name reclaim that seems to be the only explanation. I don't know if it's a mistake or on purpose. I think it's odd that we have heard nothing on this issue yet.

This is frustrating, I'd really like some kind of confirmation or even acknowledgement from Mepps concerning the issue. Mepps just tweeted that they are looking into the slow loading when logging in but nothing about name reclaiming.

I have a BATMANxxEARTH02 on both PC and PS3.

Although I have a Saturn Knight on PC.... and there used to be one on PS3.

But now Wavedox tells me there is no Saturn Knight on PS3 anymore..... but if I try to create a new one on PS3.... it says the name is taken.

Apparently they did change it. Every single name I either got or didn't aligns perfectly with his theory.

Could they be preparing a HUGE server merge between PC and PS???

Let the speculation begin.

Thanks for telling us this BEFORE people bought extra character slots and name change tokens when they saw their name was available through friends lists and the census.

It's just common sense, when PS3 reaches sunset they will likely need to merge in order to maintain population. Why not prepare now? Idiocy that they didn't let people know earlier though.
