Will The Jaeger Merge Help Or Hurt NC?

Hello my name is KingoftheBorderline, and I am a member of BDM. We're a really great covert ops squad, we don't get much credit cause we're so small but we are so instrumental when we are online at our prime time. This is just information about our outfit, but what I am going to ask is:

What outfits are gearing up for the Jaeger merge and what is your "thing"?

I'm wondering this because I want to keep in contact with officers or leaders of other outfits that are willing to be there for us if possible, or better yet, if you're an NC outfit just post here, and we'll chat a bit. I'm a friendly guy, and I really like my outfit. GengisKhron will attest, we are really great, small and relaxed, and the best possible atmosphere. I'm just wondering who is coming from Jaeger, and if you want, I can tell you what to expect from NC on Waterson. If anything, I'm really glad this merge is happening, it's going to be such a great change-up and I really think it's gonna work for everyone. If anyone on Jaeger can tell us on Waterson what to watch out for, I think this thread will be really helpful.

    TL;DR
Post **** about your outfit and tell us who you are! The NC of Waterson and BDM especially welcomes you!

I support this, as part of HOD on Waterson, it's always good to see new faces.

As a TR Jaeger player, I can guarantee you that it will help you greatly. Head on over to the Jaeger forums for a bit, and you'll see. Or just play on Jaeger for a bit.

A fight against LEGN, PHX, or ETHO has seldom been an easy one.

Jaeger is NC heavy. I can't see how that could be a bad thing. NC platoons seem to push against the other continents in an organized manner much more often then TR. while this is just something I feel is true. My kill stats are mostly NC and our outfit is not a 'zergfit' we more often face off with enemy platoons seeking to cap a continent rather then fight over the crown. Of course it may be that there are just more of them to shoot.

Hello, there Blue Dream Mercs, and others.

I am one of the three leaders of [NCUN] --Jaeger's United. We are stoked about the merge, and have been attending nightly teamspeak meetings with the other major outfit commanders from Jaeger over the past week. Jaeger Command is excited about the merge, and we expect to meld together nicely. After all, this is about FREEDOM.

I wouldn't say people don't talk about BDM; we have heard a lot of good things about you!

As for the United... we fill a lot of different roles. It really depends on the situation... others have called us a "jack of all trades" outfit. We have an air force including some of the best Reaver pilots on Jaeger and at least 3 sets of really nasty Lib crews. We roll a lot of support when we are on the ground... plus our spec ops squad. If one of our guys has a Galaxy pulled at the warpgate running shuttles, you are in good hands.

Expect us coordinating in Command chat and issuing /orders when needed... we are really easy to get along with.

Feel free to add myself (Khiafin), SkillSet, and/or ToshMi to your friends list and hit us up if you are interested in collaborative liberation!

With the exception of EZC company's black sheep zergfest (who I doubt will survive the merger) I would argue NC Jaeger is the overall best managed faction. They have a mix of small elite outfits that work closely together with larger forces such as PHX company. Blackweb is a very solid leader for the amount of men he is commanding and acutally spurred the TR to victory when he switched leadership with Weatherford for a day. (Several of our snipers are now able to recognize his distinct armor/profile BE AFRAID BLACKWEB)

This specialized combined approach means that often when the NC set their eyes on a target, they get it. Our strategy has been to bleed out their resources with high mobility hit and run attacks with sapper infantry to destroy heavy vehicles, then push back with an armor column once they run dry. Short of that process though, we have trouble taking them head on as many of our guys seem to just run forward russian style *ugh*.

Welcome Jaeger men and women on the NC!

One thing at BDM that we pride ourselves in is flexibility. We don't rely solely on one playstyle and work cooperatively. We are competitive but not overly so to the point where we have our members raging. We enjoy the play that a smaller outfit creates and we usually work along side those "zerg-fits" and really just support the NC rather than being a main force. Now that's not to say that we aren't good because we can certainly bring the noise in the air or on the ground. King has been around for awhile now and can attest that we switch up our fighting style depending on what the situation needs or what should be done rather than just going for cap points. Most often than not, we end up having to defend positions and wait for reinforcements. You'll hear me on TS saying, "Our mission is to hold this position for as long as possible or until reinforcements arrive." That's simply because we can't play the numbers game.

However TR and VS, we are a force to be reckoned with. We started launch week with maybe a handful of people, to now where we have 100+. If any NC outfits that play similar to us, in terms of more laid back and a flexible approach to the game, let me or Naha or Cheecho know in game. We run ops every Wednesday and Friday starting at 8 pm EST.

    Lock and Load!

I was under the impression this merge was happening this morning during that downtime. Anyone know when to expect it?

From the big faction list I posted when the merger was announced:
    New Conglomerate
    Large Sized:
PHX: Phoenix Battalion is defined by their large columns of rolling tanks, mercilessly driving forth to crush the enemy. While the majority of their outfit relies on numbers to complete objectives, they are now in the process of developing an elite assault platoon to better accomplish objectives modeling the tactics used against them.
NCUN: Whereas ETHOS makes specialists, NCUN makes swiss army knives. Jack of all trades, they know it all roles well, but have yet to define themselves as a master of one. NCUN rolls a combined arms approach.
EZC: Large outfit mostly known for the hate and discontent it's C/O has caused.
    Medium sized:
LEGN: Death or glory? Give em both I say! The death legion's operational style seems more indicative of a Terran platoon gone rogue. Now they fight under the banner of the NC as shock troopers, known for their strong defensive actions and shrewd use of the NC's superior close quarters arsenal combined with a good teamwork ethic.
ETHOS: ETHOS is noted for its strong air presence, and a number of NC birds in the sky bear their name, such as CommanderV's liberator. ETHOS is also home to the ranger drop troops, infantry meant to support their strong air presence, and the elite Sentinels, a squad lead by an Iraq war veteran capable of taking on many times their number.
WRNC: Lead by the valiant CAPTBuckyOhare, We Are NC is currently undergoing a shift in their organization on the battlefield. Making use of a combined arms approach, they are similar in ideology to Skillset's outfit.
    Small size:
LONGBOW : Shock infantry/drop infantry, more information is needed before further accessment can be made.
Auraxian Guard: recently formed outfit from of former PHX platoon leads; still deciding what they want to be.

Hey! This is pretty cool! Can you do one for Waterson clans?
  11. Haskaal

Well he's going to need at least several weeks to a month or two to get to know or get a general idea of all the outfits on Waterson first.
