Any tips?
Yeah, I reported the problem with the thread title after trying to access yours: https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2...access-to-threads-with-specific-title.201003/ Regarding your problem. The steps you did were correct. Now this may seem dumb but did you try rebooting after installation? I would also give running the launcher as admin a try.
Dont realy know what to do anymore. Searched the forums and google. Some people say its a wrong d3dx9_43.dll. And i need the 64 bit version of it. Has 64bit been re-enabled? I can't run the game again. I tryed using the Program Dependency Walker. For finding missing/broken dlls. When i run it with Planetside2_x64.exe it says "Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module. Error: Modules with different CPU types were found. Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found. Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module."
Anitbot might be able to help. here are his posts for getting the correct 65/32 bit version.. Hope this can help you. https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2...64-machine-and-now-32-bit-doesnt-work.199381/ This will fix the x64 problem. You will need administrator rights. Be sure you choose the right path and procedure. If not, ask a friend or question back. Maybe you should make a restore point. Rename c:\Windows\System32\D3DX9_43.dll to D3DX9_43.bak for undo or delete it. Run the latest DirectX-Setup from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=35 https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/x64-ctd.200288/ https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/client.200073/#post-2908230
