It's very annoying that when pressing M to view the map that you can't use the text chat function to communicate with your squad or other squad leaders. I believe that we could do with this implementing so that it makes it easier for teams to co-ordinate stratergies and it should also mean more squad leaders will make use of the leader chat room as not many do at the moment. Be interesting to see what others think about this.
