However ever since the June 1st update, every time I delete the folder, I have to download some shady 8.6gb update. After the update is done, when I log on my character, the loading screen gets to 99% and crashes to desktop with no error, forcing me to repeat the whole process. I've spent 8 hours re-downloading this worthless patch and uninstalling/reinstalling the game, deleting the launchpad cache, and trying various ineffective internet fixes. I am at the edges of my sanity. How do I fix these errors
I have had this issue, I used the wrench and validated game. It said it was all ok. It still crashed. I play using steam, i validated through steam, sure enough steam found ~400 file problems. It's 10gb to re-download. Then the game works ok for a bit and then it's back to ground zero.
