Ah, no, that's nothin'; you want fondue, check this out: (it's even got a tasty brown "crust" on the surface!) According to Lera in www.EQ2Furniture.com, that's a Kromzek Alchemists' Crucible, and Uwk has one in his forge room in his New Halas basement...right next to a loaf of bread, a bucket of fish, and some mug that's frothing over...one of the Lore and Legend poinky things (I think it's the javelin) is currently sticking into the "pot," with, presumably, something on the end of it. ;-> Uwk
A building block or room divider with an open hole in the middle, same shape as the stained glass ovals, so we can actually have them show through from both sides. A non-functioning door as well, with an oval cutout in the top half, that will also fit these stained glass ovals.
Hmm! I'd think if we had the range of dividers that we do now (Narrow, Tall, old fashioned style with the frames, etc.) with the cut-out, all we'd need to do would be arrange something for a "handle" and boom, "door." Though having it as one object would cut down on the item count... Uwk
If they would do a whole set of building blocks with the cutout, that would be cool too. I can see it now....expanding the size of a square block with the cutout, to make a tunnel that leads to something, like a pirate cove or dungeon, since it's got that huge oval cutout through the center.
I would love to see some walls, etc that match the Dragon Scale Roof. I don't know the diffifulty in making these but the wooden part looks really good and would make fantastic walls, I love the color of the wood, its very rich, and it matches roof. Oops, let me also add that I've always wished for some mosaic tiles like those in the Sinking Sands expansion, Maj'dul, Shimmering Citadel, Poet's Palace, etc .
The Elm's close, but I think the other's look is softer, yeah...looks more gently worn than using cheap lumber yard rejects from the beginning. /sigh Uwk
Looking at clothes for mannequins and/or Clothing Depots again (that look like wardrobes! ): I'd love to see a set of Appearance-Only clothes, like even SC, but I also would like to see SOME VARIETY in the tailors' appearance clothes recipes, along the lines of a Top Hat (nicer than the Goblin ones); a "Chest" piece that includes a long black (or at least to match the Top Hat color) coat with tails; a separate Hand piece for gloves, and a pair of matching or complementary pants that doesn't wipe out the selection of footwear, like spats or shiny matching shoes or whatever. We have a lovely Bride ensemble (though that has issues, too, about wiping out accessory clothes), now we need a proper set up for the Groom...oh, and a walking stick that comes with the set! One that ANY CLASS CAN WEAR! Having at least one group not be able to use the quintessential "walking stick" weapons, even in the Appearance slot, sucks (oh, and my two coppers? As long as it's in the Appearance slot, [rant] ANYONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO WEAR/USE ANYTHING [/rant].). Uwk
I have been directed to post more correctly my desire to see items which currently exist with the Crypt of Betrayal for recipes of statues, desk/altars, urns, pagodas. here are a few pictures, followed by descriptions and locations: *kneeling knight on one knee presenting sword point down;human in hooded robe raised right-hand, left hand on heartboth standing under pagoda/loc -5.12, 0.66, -69.96*shelves with various urns, tall narrow, upper wide, lower wide/loc -14.35, -0.09, -65.94*uniquely styled stone desk/altar/loc -9.34, -0.09, -74.66*standing knight with arms outstretched, pleading, skeleton laying on ground reeling, arm protectingboth standing under pagoda/loc -7.16, 0.66, -91.31*kneeling knight, prayingskeleton in hooded robe raised right-hand, left hand on heartboth standing under pagoda/loc -7.12, 0.66, -112.51*knight looking skyward, arms outstretched, palms upstanding under pagoda/loc 13.76, 0.66, -115.69The pillars are most impressive, and the variety and detail on the urns equally so. As these already exist within the game, I would hope it an easy process to make recipes for these. Quested or bought. I, among others, have expressed a keen desire for these to be able to add to our houses, so any consideration in this venue would be greatly appreciated.
I am in total agreement with you, Uwk...we truly need a clothing depot or wardrobe. I hate having my house vault filled up with appearance items, simply because there's not enough space in my bank, and now when I get new appearance items, I must delete something to make room for it. If they would make us a wardrobe to put all this appearance gear into, people might actually spend more in SC from the cash shop for appearance items as well. I know I won't spend any SC on appearance items, though I love many many of the beautiful cloaks there, but simply do not have room for them. :/
I usually only get SC cloaks (all with the parachute effect) for my newb alts that haven't done the brilliant "Carpet of Clover" quest during Brewday that gets them the parachute "flying carpet" thing. Recently, it dawned on me that the carpets you can get during the Moonlight Grotto events (in, I believe, the Greater Fay grotto) have the same effect, as long as one doesn't deliberately "dismount" too often (the grotto carpets are charged, I think), and it frees up the "real" cloak space later for a class-specific help to statistics cloak (STR/STA for Fighters, for example). But the SC cloaks are beautiful, for the most part, I'll give them that. I've got no problems with any of the Appearance stuff, as long as it's only Appearance, and not a "real" item, Marketplace-wise. ;-> But yeah, we need a good storage space for all that. ;-> Uwk
Excuse me Please: In regards to having a home that is more interact-able, and certainly to allow access to unusual areas there-in, and since this already exists within EQ, may we receive Climbing Wall tiles as Building Blocks that we may place in our homes? {as seen within The Silent City} Thank you kindly for the consideration.
Better yet, give building blocks a list of options for physics applied to them: climbable, slippery, knockback, pathing (i.e. moving in a specified direction until it hits an obstacle, then returning back to the start point to repeat the movement), etc. There probably aren't resources available to 'retcon' the existing blocks, but maybe it could be added for blocks that are added somewhere down the line.
