EverQuest II celebrates its ninth anniversary for this year's event. The Heroes' Festival, an annual live event first introduced in 2009, has made its return! The event is scheduled to run from 12:01am PST on Friday, November 15 through 11:59pm PST on Monday, November 25. Freeport and Qeynos will be filled with festivities to celebrate the 9th anniversary of EverQuest II. Centered primarily at the Claymore in Qeynos Capitol District and Execution Plaza in the City of Freeport, players can participate in several event quests. New this year is the Heroes' Feast quest, in which you craft up a great feast for your respective city. All quests from last year will also make a return with alternate currency token reward choices, which can be spent for new items (mostly decorations) on the Heroes' Festival merchant. One new achievement will be awarded to players who work their way through all of the quests. The Heroes' Festival is scheduled to run until 11:59pm PST on November 25th. If they really want to reward us for the time/effort put into the Feast, let us do it up to like 10-20 times, and have the 5th or 10th or whatever reward be the recipes for the items we made...either Carpenter or (gasp!) PROVISIONER, so they can actually make representations (i.e., house items!) of what they cook up for us. ;-> Uwk
As much as I'd really love to have more 'food' decorations, they can't really do that in this particular case. From what I saw the items we make for the Hero's feast use the models of the Player Studio banquet items made by Zarali. SOE can't very well take that person's items, made specifically to sell for real money & give them to us for nothing as recipes.
