Apparently, the Relic Chest desired by the Quest Deity in Frostfang doesn't want the Relic Chest after you complete the quest and turn it in and get credit. Stays in your inventory, but it's totally worthless.
I don't think thats the only one that stays around when its not wanted, but not sure exactly which quest it (they?) belong to. <edit> Tarew Marr takes his relic out of my bag just fine; will try to remember to pay attention to what happens with E'Ci the next time it pops
