Yeah, not this year. Too late bringing it to my attention to get earned time off for it. PAX East isn't normally on my radar. Used to be into Boskone or Arisa, but lately not even those, and they're more reader oriented than gaming. Nowadays I usually just hit the Granite State Comicon, which obviously isn't a big gaming convention.
I'll be there the day you guys do one of these in Germany, or the day that I can come over to the US for a vacation. It's awesome seeing these in person events make a return. Wtg! Hope a lot of us show up for some nice dev and community interaction. I always liked the idea of having a personal relationship with ppl like that. Will this event also be streamed online?
