New to EQ2 and PvP, is the new PvP server a good place to start?
How is the guild situation, should I be looking for a guild within hours of starting the game so I have some protection or help?
Is there a ruleset guide somewhere? Like what is factions, who can I attack, where can I be safe, is there any points to killing someone, where do I go spend points, what happens if I die, do NPC of same faction come to my aid, is there any quests PvP related I need to grab right from the get go and always do every day?

Is there any sites with tier listing of every class and combos to use?
I'm brand new so I'd like to know combos rotations and if I need to set my gear someway too.

My experience with PvP is GW2, PvP, WvW, ESO Alliance War,
played everything PvP in GW2, I like elementalist the best
    played dragonknight in ESO

If anyone played those games, which class do you think I play in EQ2 PvP? I like to play in party but also enjoy wandering off and sneaking around. Like going around and able to do things like PvE quests or defending something. So not really a rogue because I'm not sure if they can defend or even do quests by themselves.

Class tier list, is there a EQ2 class tier list site and how to play the classes in EQ2? Like these,

    GW2 meta builds

Pretty excited to give EQ2 a try, I'm pretty big PvP'er so expecting it to be fun times ahead.

There are next to no online guides for PVP that are up to date. It's a small community and things change between different server iterations. Find a guild early or you'll have a bad time.

Factions are good v evil. You can betray between factions. There's a third faction of neutrals which you can join through a quest. They can attack and be attacked by anyone of any level. Chat and grouping is locked to faction.

For you I would recommend monk, bruiser, shadowknight, fury or brigand. Those classes are probably the most balanced between soloability and strength in PVP.

PvP rules, are they anywhere, is it like if I'm lvl 22 can a lvl 50 attack me? Whats the rules? I looked at
    https://www.everquest2.com/news/eq2-zarrakon-new-tle
but it doesn't show the pvp rules, they assume I'm a returning EQ2 pvp'er which I am not. New to EQ2, not new to PvP, played plenty of PvP MMORPG games, but new to EQ2 pvp.

is this the rules for this pvp server?

Any mods or something everyone expects others to be using?

Which faction do you think will be the underdog, disadvantaged?
Is it usually 1 large guild vs another large guild? Any of these guilds confirmed/recruiting yet?

Thumbs up, you're new to eq2 and PvP. IMO the eq game is more fun with pvp,

Never carry money or any loot you want to keep. The heritage quests give excellent gear items, people usually do the better quests with guild as a group. Mods? no, people expect you to use discord your guild will have a discord messageboard & use- voice in groups/raid is critical.

https://discord.com/channels/228604818057330688/1088547122036621454 ask there for a guild, you'll get some dm for sure.

good luck, be strong and suggest have first character be a Bard, not to hard to play, very fast, they have tracking & groups/guilds love them!
