I decided to try EQ2 F2P. Downloaded it yesterday all 14+ gig. The game starts, but I am getting a message that I first must create a character, followed by the message, "We are sorry, no game servers are are available right now. You cannot create a new character at this time" Am I doing something wrong, for it seems that servers are up. Thanks in advance.
It is possible that you may just have the wrong game version selected for your region. To correct this issue, open the EverQuest 2 launcher and log in. In the upper right hand corner you will see a version. If yours is currently selected ,select a different version, let the patcher run, then re-select the version you would like and try accessing the game once the patch has completed. If it is already set to an undesired version select the one you would like and you should be all set.
