Hi guys - I am wondering if anyone can help me out and tell me when Necro's get a decent ability to AoE. I am trying to decide an effecient path to level up and not screw myself out of AA points in the end-game. I have looked through the spell lists and all I can find is the area lifetap. Do the sorcerer pets get aoe spells, or do we get any from AA points? I have heard that a popular thing to do later on is beef the sorc pet out so that they are a vertiable tank so I am kind of assuming they are the AoE monsters, but right now I am kind of afraid to level up since I am trying to get as many AA pts as possible. Thanks in advance for any help.
Necromancers get 3 AE's, Bloodcloud, Pandemic and Pestilent Soul from Siphoning of Souls. Mage pet is warlock, and therefore has quie a few AE's. In licked encounter fights we do fairly well, but we lack "true/blue" AE spells, since we only have 1 with long recast, and the other one has to be attained again after one use, and mage pet only has "green" encounter AEs.
