How can I buy/get access to Chains of Eternity expansion?

I can't find a link that allows me to buy it, most links go to the latest exp due out in November!

Head over to the Tears of Veeshan pre-order page and that purchase will grant you immediate access to the CoE expansion.

    So ToV includes CoE? Nice!

    Thanks

I just picked it up, but do not see anything in the entitlements for CoE. I am at work and can't test, but here is the list, am I missing something? Thanks again!

You've never gotten the extra 'goodies' for an expac when you buy it as 'included' in the newest expac. But then you're essentially getting it 'for free' as a rider on the newest expansion, so that's not really unreasonable.

And you won't see any. You have gained access to CoE content, you did not buy CoE so none of the bonuses that came to those who bought it are headed your way. You do, however, get the ToV bonuses the first of which is the preorder cloak.
  7. Flotten New Member

Wasn't looking for the bonuses, just confirmation that I have access to the zones. I assumed that it would appear in the entitlements section for that purpose :)
  8. Ahupu Well-Known Member

Ahh ok, well as for in game confirmation short of going there to prove it no clue. But if you want official confirmation that you have access the game update notes for October 1 (the day the heroic characters were introduced) has a little blurb at the bottom about ToV preorders and immediate access to CoE content. That and RadarX said it would too heh.

How do you get to those maps? I play a warden and with EQ maps I can see a Druid portal yet it doesn't show up when I cast my portal... I'm level 90 and trying to get to 95 so I can quest in the new zone. help! ;)
  10. Ahupu Well-Known Member

You will get a letter asking you to do stuff when you are an appropriate level (92 for CoE stuff) not sure what that level is for ToV probably 92 or 95. All the toons I have taken there are 95 so I am not sure on the level requirement but I am sure when it is appropriate you will find out. That and you have purchased ToV right?

Edit: And at 90 a Skyshrine group is still the fastest XP you will get. Not the only way to do it I quested through on my warden. Soloed through a grind on others, but you wanted to get there in a hurry from the sound of the post.
  11. Darkhorse Member

Yep, I bought TOV... so I guess I'll power level to 92. Thanks!
  12. Gilasil Active Member

I have a 94 that got that letter for ToV.
  13. Darkhorse Member

So here is my question for the Dev's, is this working as intended? Now that we have access to CoV, why can't I port straight there? My warden can access ToV, that shows up no problem. Was this just an over sight and you intended to allow everyone access to it no matter your level? I'm pretty sure I can handle the zone at 90, I may have to pull out my Merc but I'm pretty sure I would be fine. I'd like to see a blue response on this if possible. :)
  14. Wingrider01 Well-Known Member

you need to complete the quest line to get a direct port ability
  15. Dulcenia Well-Known Member

Not all access quests have been removed from the game.
  16. Darkhorse Member

Right, I understand now how they originally released that expansion. However, is that really necessary now that it no longer is the main area for high level content? Or, is this a matter of lore and they didn't want to remove that quest line because it relies on telling the story of this zone?

Just posing the question, It won't take me long to get to 92... I can grind it in a few hours in the right place with an EXP pot. I'm just curious cause it would save me that time and I would like to see those maps.

Probably more a matter of...why delete something you spent time creating barely a year ago.
