While I admit IE8 isn't current release, at my workplace it is the only option I have. I attempted to register my forum account, and the screen where you pick a name and timezone just crashes with IE8. There is a pop-up about a javascript error, and if you keep clicking continue you eventually reach the generic forum server error page. Not sure what all platforms you tested with, but might want to check it out.
