    No matter what "version" of EQ you currently have - the only valid version today is the one you download from SOE. I hope that helps.

    As Ratio stated, you will have the best luck by downloading the EverQuest launchpad straight from SOE. Click the Home link above and then click the 'Download the Game' link on the page that opens.
