This is still broken! I'm really hacked off with it. Two (continuing) problems: Just levelled*; so spent ages picking some lvl 5 quests. Ages. Really, ages. Switch toon. I no longer have 5 quests I have 1 AND the nice lvl 5 quests I had spent ages picking - they've gone (altho the agents are still 'free' - sometimes they're shown as questing even when the quest has poufed - not this time). Long story short I end up logging various toons in and out 8 (yes eight) times to get a 5 quests that don't disappear. This is plain silly Problem 2. I get 2 x recruit quests completed - both crit. A couple of others crit. So - loads of new agents - yay! But when I switch toons - all the nice new (common) agents have poufed - I'm down about 15 agents on that one messup While I'm here, 2nd acc. Logs in for 1st time in 12 hours. Nice new 0/10 claim record. Claims 4 completed quests. Ah. Can't claim the 5th one as 10/10 have somehow been claimed (at this point there were no other accs opening Overseer on my computer or any other explanation I can think of So we're losing quests; we're losing agents; the whole thing is broken broken broken. EDIT: Having written that; I decide to double check Acc 2 which I'd logged to trader - 2/4 new quests missing (only 4 ofc as I couldn't claim the 5th - as above) Can this be fixed???????
Another morning, another lost 6 quests across 3 accs For some reason, it's always the 'best' quests which disappear - ie recruit and the ones with highest % of success I've tried every which way to ameliorate this - setting up quests in various zones; waiting 5/10 minutes before logging a char out after completing quests; doing 'stuff' in the hope this will help ensure everything is logged. Nothing works. Have just lost all 3 recruit quests across 3 accounts Yet to see anything from a Dev on this???
After raids, if I camp out of my Main (to character select) and log into my Alt to collect Overseer completions for XP, I will find that one of my quests is missing. If I camp out of my Main (all the way to desktop) and log into my Alt, all quests are available to collect the rewards. I have seen this result several times. If you open the Overseer window before logging to desktop and then back into the character that you want to claim the rewards on, you may lose a quest. The game will treat it as if you never even began the quest, the agents are still available. How the game determines which quest to drop, I do not know.
I started rigidly not opening Overseer except when running quests were done, and then only on the redeeming character. I still lose quests on occasion (and when they show back up as complete, they count against the current redeem cap), but I no longer get my completed quest count jumping to 10/10 when I haven’t redeemed any. If you look to see where your tasks are, the cap will bug has been my experience. To shorten the assignment times, I quit assigning a character to each slot, but that puts my higher end characters preferentially loaded. They started dropping like flies. So I went back to loading all the slots in the hopes I would spread the risk over more characters. Now my incapacitated agent list reads like a phone book. Coupled with high end recovery missions being 1) rare, 2) not including actually recovering anyone, and 3) if anyone is recovered, I don’t get to choose the application, I am reaching the point where I’ll just have to take a couple days off now and then to recover. Too many key agents get lost, I can’t even select tasks at lower probabilities.
I had hoped this would be fixed in the patch, but sadly not. Sneayyin AB (only account I'm bothering with till this is fixed) - all times are BSt - 8 hours ahead of PDT Collected my 5 rewards as seen below, did some conversions and then zoned to make sure no quests vanished. After zoning I had 6/5 quests 2 had returned Side of Plunder and Recruit Fighters. Also Recruit Travellers had vanished from my active quest list and not returned to my available quest list. There was no fail message to say my quest had failed. Zoned back to guild hall, all 5 new quests were in the active quest list. Ok, this is not fun, this is ridiculous Overseer is more bugged than a buggy thing with an infestation of bugs.... I log on for the 1st time in 14 hours (post patch) Acc 1 - oh, I somehow have claimed 8/10 already - so can only claim 2 of my quests and can't set up (properly) more overnight But i set up the 2 I can and switch toons to make sure they're still there - and, surprise surprise (or not), the recruit task has poufed. Of course, it's not back in the quest list, so no recruit for me Acc 2 I can claim my 5 rewards - yipee! I get crits - double yipee!. I switch to toon in safe zone to do the overnight quests. Not ONE of the agents from 1 recruit quest and 2/3 others has made it into the actual pool of agents. They've poufed into the ether Why isn't this being addressed???
